$825 in donations were raised to help Elizabeth Hornbeck and her family of 8, who were hit hard by the flooding of Hurrivan Harvey. 11 names were eligible to win an original painting by TRU staffer, Tracy Eaton and the winner is.....
Like people all over the country, our hearts and prayers go out to HOUSTON and all people in Texas who are suffering from the effects of HURRICANE HARVEY.
TRU Incentives, Inc., is blessed to have the opportunity (with your help) to make a TRU difference in the lives of at least one family, who really need our help. Below are pictures of a family hard hit by the flooding in the Houston area and have a close tie with TRU Incentives. Elizabeth, grew up in Kansas City and attended Bishop Hogan High School where TRU Event & Operations Manger, Tracy Eaton taught in the early 90's. Elizabeth is a close friend of Tracy's, as well as a former student, and we are determined to help her family of 8 humans and one lab pup, bounce back from their recent losses due to Hurricane Harvey!
Tracy taught art at Bishop Hogan HS from 1993 - 1997 - her first teaching job. Both kids and teacher learned a lot in those 4 years!

"Our house wanted to go swimming & got all WET!" Elizabeth's Toddler explained.
Elizabeth is a full time PSYCH student and her partner is a Catholic HS teacher who is battling MS. They have a full time college student and all other children attend Parochial school. They have been renovating the house you see below, for the last year and now they will need to start from scratch. The kids will need new everything, from school uniforms and supplies, to clothing, beds/bedding and toiletries. The adults need to replace, repair or clean everything! Two of the three cars only had liability insurance and who knows how long it will be before the other will be fixed or replaced. They do have flood insurance (whoop whoop), but that won't take care of everything, and it won't help immediately, AND THIS IS WHERE WE CAN HELP!

IF we reach our goal of $8,000 OR MORE: EVERYONE who donated will be put in a drawing for a chance to win a 7 Day Caribbean or Mexican Princess Cruise (see the fine print below).
What happens if we don't reach our goal of $8,000?
IF we receive $5,000 - $7,999: EVERYONE who donates will be put into a drawing to win a 3 Night stay for 2 at any SECRETS Resort - for travel between April 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018. *Dates are subject to resort availability* - AIR FARE NOT INCLUDED - one winner will be drawn.
What happens if we don't raise $5,000?
IF our final total is below $5,000: EVERYONE who donated to this very important cause will be put into a drawing to receive this 12"x 16" Original Acrylic painting by Tracy Dempsey-Eaton, Former Art teacher, friend of Elizabeth and TRU Meeting Planner. Shipping will be paid by TRU!
